The Painter of a Love for Life
Morning block: 9:30 – 11:00
Afternoon block: 17:00 – 18:30
Auguste Renoir’s paintings continue to amaze with the skill and spontaneity with which he captured everyday life. In the simple moments of daily life that became the subjects of his works—The Swing (1876), Luncheon of the Boating Party (1880–81), The Lovers (1880–1890)—Renoir discovered beauty and harmony. His extraordinary liveliness and immediacy are still captivating today, especially in Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette (1876), which is on display at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.
