Readers can request various types of documents related to the Pardubice Region in our Regional Study Room. Working with old monographs and prints will be easier with our digital library. You can also use the general study room’s collection and the information department’s collection focusing on economic and legal issues.
Regional Study Room
- Regional department is located on the ground floor of the library.
- Regional study room offers library, factual, bibliographic and consultancy services.
- There are several study spaces and two computers with access to the digital library and databases.
- PC printing and photocopying services from the library’s available resources according to the current Price List.
- There are so many ways to find what you’re looking for! You can search for your desired title in the online catalogue or ask the librarians, who are always happy to help.
Collection
- Scientific literature and fiction for full-time study.
- Publications and periodicals focused on Pardubice and the Pardubice Region.
- Bound volumes of newspapers and a protected collection of old prints.
- Books published by publishers of our region.
Information Department
- Located on the ground floor of the library.
- Lending of titles focused on economic and legal issues – borrowing maps, foreign language dictionaries, Collections of Laws since 1918, statistical yearbooks, Masaryk’s and Otto’s Dictionary, Encyclopaedia Britannica, etc.
- Several study areas, including computers with access to databases and the Internet.
Access to Databases
- CODEXIS– automated legal information system.
- CSN online – valid and invalid electronically accessible CSN standards.
- If you’d like to know more about accessing the database, our helpful library staff are always on hand to help.
Research Room
- The “space” research room is located at Příhrádek.
- The space was created in cooperation with the Czech Space Office and is home to valuable collections of personal libraries of leading experts in cosmonautics.
