Pen and Paper Roleplaying Games

It’s a type of game where players take on the roles of their own fictional characters and then act as them in the game itself. Together with others, they build a story using narration. How and where it will unfold is determined by the leader of the game called the gamemaster, who helps the players, but also puts various challenges and obstacles in the way of their characters to make the adventure exciting. Players will thus become direct participants in stories that they would otherwise only read in books or see in movies.

What are the rules: We play mostly in the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition system, but depending on the interest of the participants, we sometimes use a different system. Mainly FATE and Dragon Watch in recent years.
When: Wednesdays, and Thursdays (closed groups) and fridays (open gaming) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. excluding vacations and holidays.
Who it’s for: For children and youth ages 11 to 16 who are curious, like fantasy and adventure, are open to teamwork, and like to play. This year we are opening two groups for 5-6 children.
Where: In the library in its historic basement or in the clubhouse of the children’s department. Always meet at the children’s department.
Entrance fee: The deposit for half a year is CZK 500. It is also possible to pay for the whole year, i.e. 1000 CZK. We provide game materials and gamemasters. Open gaming is free of charge.
The money will be collected at the first meeting.
