In the comfort of your home, you can access the Kramerius Digital Library. In addition to digitized regional documents, the collection also includes several publications from other memory institutions of the Pardubice Region. You can also browse through digitized documents from other institutions or libraries, and Out of Commerce Works are also available after logging in.
Digital Library Kramerius
The Pardubice Regional Library maintains the Kramerius Digital Library, where we offer access to digitised regional documents from our own collection as well as from the collections of other memory institutions of the Pardubice Region (the East Bohemian Museum in Pardubice, the Regional Museum in Litomyšl, the Orlické Museum in Choceň).
The complete content of the digital library is available in the premises of the Pardubice Regional Library, including the Příhrádek. Documents borrowed from the above institutions are available in the libraries. Copyright-free works can be viewed by all users, other documents accessible in the Out of Commerce Works mode are visible only to readers of the Pardubice Regional Library and other participating institutions after login, link to the signpost to other digital libraries here. These works can only be viewed remotely, printed and downloaded only in the buildings of the Pardubice Regional Library.
How do I log in to the digital libraries?
- Select the library you are looking for.
- In the top right corner click on Login.
- Check the Agree to Terms of Use box, then click Login with library account/eduID.
- Find the Pardubice Regional Library (Krajská knihovna v Pardubicích) in the library menu.
- Log in with your username and password (login details are the same for the Reader’s account).
Out of Commerce Works (DNNT)
The Pardubice Regional Library enables its readers to study Out of Commerce Works of other libraries. There are two access options:
Full-text document reading for individual users via remote access
For book publications the access is restricted to editions up to and including the year 2003. Periodicals are only accessible if they were published at least 10 years ago, currently up to and including 2013. Making digital and print copies is prohibited. Violation of this prohibition is a reason for suspension of the service until further notice and, where appropriate, for sanctions for violating copyright law. A condition of the service is the user’s registration in the library, which has concluded a contract for the provision of NDK-DNNT services with the National Library of the Czech Republic.
Reading the full text of the document on the terminal in our library
Book editions from 1990 to 2002, which are not available via remote access, are available in the library on-site as opposed to remote access. This includes approximately 2,100 book titles. If the documents are not in the collection of the Regional Library in Pardubice, they cannot be downloaded or printed.
