The year 2025 is the perfect time to discover new stories, expand your reading horizons and have fun with books! We have prepared Reading Challenge that will introduce you to the world of literature like nothing you’ve ever experienced before.
What is the Reading Challenge?
Each month, you’ll enjoy one book that fits the specified theme – from thrilling adventures and futuristic technology to delicious stories full of gastronomy. 12 months, 12 books, 12 opportunities to discover something special!

How to start?
- Choose your reading: Each month, choose exactly one book that meets the theme.
- Fill out the game card and share the experiences: Record the books you read on the game card, which is available physically at the library or digitally on our website to fill out online, and share the experiences on social media with #kkpce.
- Complete the challenge and earn a reward: After reading the 12 books and turning in your game card at the library’s reception desk or by emailing your online game card to edukace@knihovna-pardubice.cz by December 15, 2025, a reward awaits you at the end of the year!
